Resumen
The Specialized Stumpjumper excels as a versatile cross-country bike, praised for its playful and fun handling that inspires confidence on various trails. Its supple suspension and balanced geometry provide a smooth ride, while innovative features like the SWAT storage system add practicality. However, some reviews note issues with tire performance in mud and a tendency for the rear shock to rush through travel on big hits.
Playful and fun handling
Supple suspension performance
SWAT storage system
Excellent traction on climbs
Balanced and predictable geometry
Tires can be bouncy and perform poorly in mud
Rear shock may rush through travel on big hits
Low bottom bracket leads to pedal strikes
Slightly sluggish compared to bikes with regular tires
It’s a bike that works in harmony with all its angles and travel, never seeming like it’s too much or not enough of anything.
the 6fattie is the most fun I have ever had on a mountain bike
Supple suspension, tacky tyres and a sweet balance of slack and sharp – the Stumpy rules the trails.
The Stumpjumper has a really lively, playful feel on descents, and rides with great agility even with those chubby tires.
The 6Fattie is a real hoot

Super smooth with user friendly features, but soft-focused rather than responsive when pushed. Buy if you're looking for a super smooth and stable ride that's great for tight, slower speed singletrack and trail riding
Naturally neutral, well balanced and super-smooth ride
Sorted trail spec at a good price
Unique easy shock set-up and internal storage
Heavy, twangy wheels and soft suspension sap responsiveness, and short wheelbase undermines flat-out stability

The main question to ask ourselves is … why? Why do we ride? Why do you ride? Why spend so much of your hard-earned money on bikes and gear? Why not just hop on your old steel klunker and head out for hours and hours of ripping up our favorite techy singletrack?

Jared Graves’s transition from Yeti to Specialized has not been perfectly smooth. After dominating the Enduro World Series in 2014, the Aussie had yet to match those results in his first campaign with the Big Red S. But now things are turning around. Here's a look at the bike that helped make that happen. - Mtbr.com

The Stumpjumper 6Fattie is built for traction, stability and, surprisingly, speed on the trail.

Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp 6Fattie is one of only a handful of plus sized full suspension bikes. Does it make the most of wider rear tyres?
Traction and control hit new highs on certain terrain. Can be winched up ridiculously steep pitches
Tyres can be too bouncy and float in mud

This trail bike's wide tires provide more traction—and more fun
