Today Scott is releasing their new Genius, an All Mountain rig with 29-inch wheels and 160 / 150mm of travel at the front and rear respectively. The Genius is a good, all-round trail bike that can be pushed pretty hard. Suspension balance takes time to perfect and not everyone will be a fan of the tyres. Buy if you're in the market for a well-mannered, long travel trail bike that's keen to eat up the miles
Decent proportions, smooth, active rear suspension tracks terrain well, TwinLoc suspension system makes shock adjustment easy
Tyres get out of their depth quickly, suspension balance front to rear takes time to dial in
