Resumen
The Santa Cruz Nomad is a high-performance enduro bike praised for its improved suspension, stable geometry, and descending prowess. It offers a balance of speed and control, with a design that encourages aggressive riding. While it excels downhill, some reviews note its climbing efficiency is compromised by its heavy build and long travel.
Improved suspension performance and feel
Stable slack-and-low geometry
Descends exceptionally well
Adjustable geometry with two positions
Lifetime guarantee
Limited climbing capability
Heavy tires make climbing feel laborious
Not as efficient on climbs compared to 150mm bikes
Speed is its closest ally and the faster you let her go, the more capable she grows.
A top-end performer — fun, fast and won’t back down, no matter what lies ahead of it
F§%&, the new Santa Cruz Nomad 4 is quick – dangerously quick!

Hard not to love the Santa Cruz Nomad CC. It looks drop dead gorgeous, pedals better than most 140mm bikes but you have 170mm to get you out of trouble.
Pedals like stink and is fun to ride
Sizing comes up a little short

The Nomad is a big bike. A freeride-worthy bike. But it is also an exceptional climber.

Now look here: this is a long-term review. In it, I will discuss my relationship with the Santa Cruz Nomad IV. In it, I will not discuss (many) of the details I already covered in the First Impression piece. We write two articles for most bike reviews so we can cook and salt the meat in the first one, and spend the second one pushing it around the plate and mopping up the sauce with a piece of bread.

Last week Santa Cruz invited us to the Italian-French border to present some news: the Nomad 4, the Juliana Strega and the carbon Reserve wheels. We spent three days riding a handful of rocky, rowdy trails near Sospel, Roja valley and Molini di Triora testing new products from the Californian brand. The new Nomad 4 The Santa Cruz Nomad is the benchmark enduro model of the California brand. This 4th version has been completely redesigned. Let’s start: there is no 29er…The Nomad 4 is a 27.5” with 170mm of front and rear travel; apart from the links, the frame is fully
