That's why we brought the MERIDA eONE-SIXTY 10K, the winner of the all-rounder group test in our sister magazine E-MOUNTAINBIKE, into this test. Does it also cut a good figure while commuting?

  • Super sporty bike for hobby and leisure time

  • Premium build for trail use

Mínimos

Merida eONE-SIXTY 10k review (2021)

ago 2021 · Tom Marvin

Merida’s top-spec electric mountain bike comes dripping with high-end kit, but does this help on the trail?

Máximos
  • Very smooth, composed suspension

  • Good handling on a wide variety of trails

  • For the most part, the spec list is second to none

Mínimos
  • A longer front end would improve performance

  • The front end is pretty high and the seat tube quite tall

  • The light and rear fender don’t add anything to the package

The MERIDA eONE-SIXTY 10K secured victory as the best all-rounder in our big eMTB group test. But where does it stand against the analogue competition?

Máximos
  • Very wide range of applications

  • Fast, safe and fun for everyone

  • Perfect spec

  • Flawless integration of the Shimano system

Mínimos
  • Loud clunking noise from inside the EP8 motor

  • Long seat tube

MERIDA eONE-SIXTY 10K in review – The ultimate all-rounder?

abr 2021 · Felix Stix

In last year’s group test, the MERIDA eONE-SIXTY 10K, equipped with the old Shimano motor and smaller battery, delivered an impressive performance and missed out on our coveted Best in Test by a hair's breadth. This year, it enters the race with the new Shimano EP8 motor, a bigger battery and updated spec. Can any of the bikes in this test match its outstanding trail performance? Have its recent upgrades made it the perfect all-rounder?

Máximos
  • Widest range of applications in the test

  • Fast, safe and fun for everyone

  • Perfect spec

  • Seamless integration of the Shimano drive system

Mínimos
  • Long seat tube

We think the new eOne-Sixty 9000 is a good-looking bike. At first glance, it looks identical to the 2020 model. But there are a few important changes.

Merida eOne-Sixty 10K 2020 review

oct 2019

Merida's eOne-Sixty 10K sits at the very top of the brand's long-travel e-bike range, with a carbon fibre front end with integrated 500Wh battery driving a Shimano motor and mismatched size wheels. It's got handling that strikes the right balance between agility and outright stability, but harder or heavier riders might find the rear end too willing to give up the travel if they want to push their limits.
