Despite being released way back in 2019, the Process 134 is holding its own the trail category, ranking highly in all three testers' books.
Supportive, efficient climber
Lively, responsive descender
Stout, laterally stiff chassis
I mean, just look at it
A little expensive
Standard-offset forks are becoming uncommon

The new Process 134 29 is a modern trail bike with a voracious appetite for tight turns.
Lively and energetic handling
Very easy to wheelie and manual
Loves tight turns
Short chainstays have drawbacks at higher speeds
Actual seat tube angle isn't that steep
A few parts don't seem to match up with the price

Kona's Process 111 was a special bike. It was one of, if not the first, North Shore-ready short travel 29ers available. We've been anxiously awaiting a new version of the beloved 111 for some time now, and, well, it's finally here. Sort of.

Kona's 2020 Process 134 CR 29 is a versatile, fun ride for all but the roughest trails.

ago 2019 · Alan Muldoon
For the latest Kona Process 134, Kona has combined the best parts of two platforms to produce a trail bike that fast, fun and ridiculously capable.
Punches well above its weight in every department: silent, fast, capable and efficient.
Sizing and geometry are on the money too.
Not the best value for money.
