The all-new fifth generation Ibis Ripley is longer, lower, and slacker than ever before; so much so that I actually went down one ...

The Ibis Ripley V5 brings new geometry, STOW frame storage, mixed-wheel compatibility, and refined DW-link suspension to create a lightweight, highly capable trail bike.
Sleek frame design and great aesthetics
Size-specific geometry for consistent ride feel
Internal frame storage (STOW) with bags
Flip chip for mullet setup without geometry compromise
Excellent climbing performance, nimble and lightweight
Great descending capability on varied terrain
Durable and capable Shimano XT components
Good value at $6399 with carbon frame and Fox Factory suspension
Suspension plush and progressive in most terrain
Fork flex noticeable on harsh transitions
Easy to bottom out the fork on bigger drops/rock rolls (could add volume spacer)
Freehub engagement only 10 degrees
Flip chip adjustment requires shock removal for wheel swap

The new Ripley is less swoopy, has a hole in the downtube & can run a smaller rear wheel. In other words, it's a completely different bike.
