Resumen
The Giant Defy is celebrated as a versatile endurance bike that combines comfort with performance, offering a smooth ride quality that rivals more expensive carbon bikes. Its lightweight frame, efficient power transfer, and comfortable geometry make it suitable for long rides, while the D-Fuse seatpost and carbon fork enhance vibration damping. Despite some limitations in component quality and weight, the Defy is praised for its value, handling, and all-round capabilities.

The chassis bears little resemblance to the previous Defy Advanced SL aside from a laundry list of Giant’s trademark features, such as the extra-oversized 1 1/4 to 1 1/2in tapered OverDrive 2 steerer, the huge MegaDrive down tube, the 86mm-wide PowerCore bottom bracket shell with press-fit bearing cups, and that unmistakable integrated carbon fiber seatmast that Giant says is at the core of the Defy’s rear-end comfort characteristics.. .
