Resumen
The Devinci Django is celebrated for its versatility and performance as a trail bike, offering a comfortable and efficient ride with impressive suspension kinematics and geometry. It stands out for its small-bump sensitivity, support during aggressive riding, and climbing comfort, making it a favorite among riders who value a balanced and fun trail experience. However, some components, like the SRAM Level brakes and FOX 34 fork, are noted as areas for improvement.
Versatile performance suitable for a wide range of trail conditions
Comfortable and efficient for both climbing and descending
Small-bump sensitivity and supportive suspension kinematics
Forward-thinking geometry inspires confidence in corners
Clean design with attention to detail and built-in protection
SRAM Level brakes and FOX 34 fork may not meet the bike's performance potential
Super Boost spacing may limit wheel compatibility for some riders
Dynamic geometry can suffer slightly under heavy braking
The new Django did not disappoint.
It’s a proper shredder.
This is an incredibly fun trail bike.

At the beginning of September, Devinci presented the newest version of the Django, their trail bike which, as is traditional for the Canadian brand, shows a certain propensity for downhill fun. The new Django clearly takes on the lines of Troy, the all-mountain bike from the Devinci, creating a continuity of design within the range that we can assume will be followed by the next update of the Spartan. Equipped with 29-inch wheels, the 2020 Django offers 120mm of rear wheel travel, like the previous model, from which it differs however with 140mm of front travel instead of 130. For

A top performing trail bike I’d quite happily purchase with my own cash, but only if Devinci gave me the option of putting a different, more capable fork on it from the factory to help unleash its potential
Fantastic ride qualities provided by geometry and suspension kinematics
Sorted spec for the most part
Lacklustre fork damper

Plenty of bike for all the fun but not too much to pedal up the mountain.

The Devinci Django Carbon 29 is a bit of a wolf in sheep’s pantaloons. 120mm of rear travel and steepish angles would have you thinking it’s more of a cross-country bike, but this machine is in its element when the trails are technical. Don’t buy this bike if you’re looking for a fast, zippy trail …
Burly, stiff frame construction.
Excellent technical climber.
Precise - will hold a line tenaciously.
Not a fast or zippy ride when compared to many of its competitors.
