Resumen
The CUBE Stereo 150 is a versatile enduro bike that offers a mix of agility, suspension performance, and value, making it a strong contender in its category. It excels on technical terrain with its well-optimized 150mm travel suspension and enduro race-ready geometry, though some reviews note a lack of stability in very rough conditions. The bike is praised for its high-value builds and aggressive suspension feel suitable for racing, but some cons include exposed suspension pivots and a frame that may feel stiff to some riders.
Agile & responsive ride on technical terrain
Well-optimized 150mm travel four-bar suspension design
Enduro race-ready geometry
High-value builds with quality components
Aggressive suspension feel suitable for enduro racing
Exposed suspension pivots to mud & debris
Lacks stability in very rough terrain
Frame felt stiff and a little lifeless to some riders
This is an incredibly fun, forgiving, and surprisingly affordable enduro bike.
Cube’s new enduro weapon gets big wheels and an aggressive suspension feel
Fun instead of high-speed! The CUBE is very agile, but it lacks stability in the rough.
Cube has delivered a superbly specced lightweight trail bike for the money, the shock tune needs refining if it’s to deliver the complete package.

On the Cube Stereo 150 C:62 SL 29, the C:62 of the mealy-mouthed model name indicates the level of carbon used for the frame construction.

The Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 Race 500 27.5 has an interminable name, though much easier to ride than pronounce while climbing a steep hill. The Stereo Hybrid uses a finely finished aluminium frame with sharp angles and a robust, industrial presence, 27.5” wheels wrapped in meaty 2.6” Schwalbe tyres, and the excellent Bosch Performance CX …
Excellent value.
Comfortable and composed.
Bosch CX motor runs very well.
Too conservative for aggressive riding.
Needs tubeless valves.

Great value, agile enduro bike, but geometry tweaks would improve things further

With the Stereo 150, Cube enters the long travel Enduro 29 segment. Just a few years back, “racers” were skeptical, thinking that these bikes were way too slow in changing direction and clumsy compared to their 27.5″ wheel shod counterparts. New geometries completely changed the game, reducing the negative effects. Shorter rear triangles with lower bottom brackets and longer reach values, and also more relaxed head tube angles, made the 29ers behave almost like their smaller sisters. In this way, the lower rolling resistance and the ease of overcoming obstacles emerged as clear pluses. Some brands like Transition and Mondraker, went even further with

The brand new CUBE Stereo 150 was a very poorly guarded secret. You could see the CUBE action team riders competing in EWS races on the new bike quite some time before the release. When the bike was officially released, there were a few surprises left none-the-less. For an overview of the test fleet head […]

We detailed Cube's move to 29" wheels on the new Stereo 150 29, built for their Enduro World Series team. Previewing the affordable carbon bike in Finale Ligure, we rode away impressed with the 29er's agile & responsive ride on the technical terrain, chasing downhill after Cube's pro riders.
