Resumen
The Canyon Strive is a versatile enduro bike that excels with its innovative Shapeshifter system, allowing on-the-fly adjustments to geometry and suspension for efficient climbing and capable descending. It offers a lively, trail-like feel despite its long travel, with well-tuned suspension that provides a balanced mix of sensitivity and support. While praised for its value and performance, some reviews note conservative geometry and occasional complexity with the Shapeshifter remote.
Shapeshifter system for on-the-fly geometry and suspension adjustment
Excellent value for a high-end carbon enduro bike
Lively and nimble handling with a trail-like feel
Well-balanced and supportive suspension performance
Versatile, capable of both efficient climbing and aggressive descending
Conservative geometry compared to some modern enduro bikes
Shapeshifter remote can be clunky or require getting used to
Slack seat tube angle in climb mode
Suspension damping may feel over-damped for lighter riders
Potential cockpit clutter with multiple levers
It rides like a shorter travel bike. Its overall demeanor is more like a trail bike than what I expect from an enduro (race) bike right now.Bicycling
The Shapeshifter concept is the ultimate form that a multiple-mode rear suspension can take.
The Strive is at the top of the pile in the long-travel trail/enduro category. The ride quality, value for money and versatility benefits of the Shapeshifter feature make it one of our most favourite bikes of all time.
The Canyon Strive CFR has been one of the most versatile enduro bikes on the market ever since it first launched.
It actually works really well, and with minimal practice I was able to switch modes multiple times on familiar descents without too much fumbling.

The build is kitted out with top-drawer components including the aforementioned DT Swiss carbon wheels and FOX 36 Factory fork, Code RSC brakes, and a SRAM X01 Eagle groupset..

The Canyon Strive CFR has been one of the most versatile enduro bikes on the market ever since it first launched. Some keyboard warriors claim that the head angle is too steep or the reach is too short. Is that really the case and how does Jack Moir's team replica model fare on a demanding EWS stage?
Balanced handling
Plush, sensitive suspension
Precise and intuitive
Super quiet
All the levers require getting used to
Slack seat tube angle because of the tall front end

The Strive CFR 9.0 may look like an enduro race bike, but it's actually a lively trail bike.
Great value
Great pedaling and climbing manners
Sharp handling and lively feel
