Resumen

The Aventon Level series is praised as a highly functional and sharply priced commuter e-bike, offering a smooth ride with its suspension fork and seatpost, and a responsive 500W motor with torque sensor. It stands out for its high-tech features like GPS tracking, geofencing, and integrated lights with turn signals, alongside practical additions like a cargo rack and fenders. While it excels in ride quality and value, some reviews note minor inconveniences like the charging port location and the tail lights not functioning as brake lights.

Aventon Level.3 ST Review: Security Meets City Smarts

feb 2025

Aventon Level.3 ST review: 70-mile range, 4G security, stiff frame, and smooth torque sensor make this 2025 commuter e-bike a solid pick.

Observaciones
  • With 4G-powered GPS, geofencing, and an electronic wheel lock, this bike’s equipped to tackle urban theft concerns—complete with an alarm that sounds if someone tampers with it. It might be more than needed in a quiet suburb, but for city riders parking in busy areas, it’s a practical safety feature.

  • Aventon’s new “gravity-cast” frame—a term for its reinforced aluminum design—stays stiff and responsive, avoiding the flex some step-through frames suffer from. Beyond the ride quality, its cleaner lines and matte colors add a refined look without overdoing it.

  • The Level.3’s torque sensor stands out—it adjusts assist based on your pedaling effort smoothly, unlike older cadence sensors that deliver power in a less refined way. It’s efficient and intuitive, making city rides feel seamless rather than a struggle against the motor.

  • Aventon claims 70 miles of range, and I managed about 75 on low assist in real-world testing—though it dropped to 40 when using max power on hills. It’s reliable for commutes or a longer weekend ride, but don’t count on stretching it too far if you’re pushing the motor hard all the time. See Latest Price

Aventon Level.2 E-Bike Review | Read BEFORE Buying – Electric Bike Report

ene 2025 · Griffin Hales

If you’ve followed Aventon over the years you’ve likely noticed how its evolved in the e-bike space. Its e-bike lineup has held some crowd-pleasing favorites, and they’ve added even more diverse offerings to it, but over the last 18 months or so we’ve really seen refinement from Aventon’s e-bikes. That focus on refinement is what

Máximos
  • The new torque sensor is a fundamentally different experience: the Level 2 has a much more natural bike riding feel compared to its predecessor

  • The torque sensor also helped improve battery life while keeping the same 500W motor / 672 Wh battery combo as the previous level

  • While we liked the Zoom brakes we tested on past Level models, we’re happy to see Tektro hydraulic brakes as they are reliable performers that are easier to get serviced

  • We loved the look of the blue Aventon Level 2 we reviewed, but we think all 4 color options (white, pink, blue, clay) hold a lot of visual appeal compared to the previous gray color

  • The 8-speed Shimano Acera drivetrain is as responsive as ever and provides adequate gearing for going up or down hills

  • The color display is easy to read, and the downloadable Aventon app pairs with it nicely to enhance your overall experience

  • All the contact points are performance-oriented enough for a serious commuter, while comfortable enough to warrant spending over an hour in the saddle

Mínimos
  • We’re fans of the torque-sensor, especially at lower PAS levels, but it does mean that higher PAS levels feel a tad tame for the high speed loving crowds.

  • Aventon prioritized battery life on the Level 2 which resulted in the bike riding not quite as hard on throttle to help preserve the battery.
