Diving into Knolly's Titanium Hardtail after some time spent on the steel version...
Beautiful titanium finish and welds
Larger tubing diameters improve stiffness
Weighs 2 lbs (907g) less than steel version
Rides just like the steel version
Plenty of tire clearance (up to 27.5x2.8")
CNC-machined headbadge
Easy to work on (45 min frame swap)
Rear brake mount and brace are well-designed
Expensive ($7900 CAD for XT build)
Dropper post routing is finicky (internal with hatch)
Cable noise from internal dropper housing
Bare chainstay lacks protection (no rubber sleeve)
Stock cockpit (bars/stem) not ideal
