This sleek-looking cruiser is as fun and cool as it looks, with a low-effort ride, a comfortable feel, useful integrated tech, and a throttle! A dozen years after entering the e-bike market with the original Townie Go!, Electra has introduced a new and improved version of the bike with some significant changes. In addition to
Pedaling is active but easy, thanks to the Townie Go!’s capable 500W hub motor and torque sensor. It dishes out plentiful power in response to rider effort.
The Townie has a relaxed and comfortable feel well suited for cruising. Its pedal-forward design complements its cushy saddle and curved handlebars.
It pairs with the Trek Central app, allowing users to tune the feel and power of the pedal assist system, get navigation, track ride data, and take advantage of battery life extension options.
The bike is paired with Trek’s EasyMag charger, a wall-mountable unit that connects effortlessly to the bike and displays the current charge level through a bar-based light ring.
The bike is loaded with great features, including a throttle, turn signals, a stem-integrated quad-lock phone mount, a chain guard, etc.
The bike’s 2.35”-wide tires smooth the ride and add stability and traction when on the move.
Looks are subjective, but it’s hard to argue that the Townie Go! expertly blends clean & contemporary design with the classic cruiser vibe. It also has fun color options we don’t often see elsewhere!
The battery is accessible by service technicians, but it can’t be removed for charging; you’ll need to bring the whole bike inside.

The refreshed Townie Go! adds sleek styling, modern tech, and a throttle for the first time. The Electra Townie Go! just got a makeover, and it’s not just looking sharper—it’s smarter too. For the first time ever, this beloved cruiser adds throttle functionality, making it easier to start from a stop, recover if you left

The Electra Brand has been known for cruisers and city bike, both electrified and not. They’ve left road bikes, eMTBs and cargo e-bikes to other brands (like their parent, Trek). Instead, they’ve focused on the category for which they are known. They’ve now introduced a new e-bike, the Ponto Go!, which takes a little sidestep

An affordable lightweight cruiser electric bike with special edition Artist Series tropical design. priced to compete with online ebikes but offers dealer assembly, fitting, post-purchase support, and comes in two frame styles and eight color scheme options! The step-thru is a small-medium with 26" tires and the high-step is a medium-large with 27.5" tires.
This is a Class 1 ebike with three levels of torque and cadence sensing pedal assist, a minimalist control pad that is easy to use, very clean cable routing, and a reliable single speed drivetrain with no shifters. The Bali and Shibori come with fenders, integrated lights, and a bell, but you can also add them to the standard Cruiser Go! along with cargo racks and a bottle cage.
Large 180mm mechanical disc brakes provide good stopping power, wide 2.35" tires provide comfort and stability, extra-wide saddle with elastomer bumpers and swept-back handlebar provide a relaxed body position. Unique "Flat Foot" frame geometry makes it easy to touch the ground when stopped while still providing good leg extension for pedaling.
Excellent weight distribution with downtube integrated battery pack. The battery and motor are so hidden and quiet that it hardly looks or sounds like an ebike! Lower than average 250wh battery capacity and 250 watt motor pair nicely for an efficient riding and keep the overall weight and price low. Tires seem kind of basic with no puncture protection or reflectivity.

Two gender neutral color options for the step-thru presumably for guys who aren't as tall or have sensitive knees and hips like me. Class 1 ebike with three levels of assist, minimalist buttons are easy to use, limited clutter with internally routed cables, easy to use twist shifter operates the 7-speed Shimano cassette with wide 14-34 tooth freewheel.
