Looking for something different in a gravel or adventure bike? We put the Nukeproof Digger to the test. See if it's the bike for you.
Slack head angle (69°) and long trail (86.2mm) provide stable descending and confidence on technical terrain.
Dropper post included (Brand X Ascend 125mm).
BSA threaded bottom bracket (68mm).
Ample mounting points: 4 bottle cages on main triangle, triple bolt on fork legs, fender/rack mounts.
External cable routing for some lines aids maintenance.
Smooth ride feel on rough surfaces.
Good tire clearance (700x45mm, 650Bx47mm).
GRX 810-LA dedicated dropper lever works well.
Shimano GRX brakes provide confident braking from hoods.
Good value at $2900.
Low stack height (561.6mm) leads to a road-race-like position; not ideal for adventure riding.
Relatively heavy (23.4 lbs) with entry-level DT Swiss G 1800 wheelset.
Sluggish in sprints and not snappy on climbs.
Front-end wander on steep uphills due to slack geometry.
GRX crank chain line offset causes noisy chain in lower gears and tendency to drop chain when backpedaling.
Limited steerer tube length above headset (65mm) restricts handlebar height adjustment.
