Summary
The Specialized Enduro is a versatile enduro bike praised for its superb handling and descending capabilities, with a carbon fiber frame built for durability. It features a travel adjust fork for improved climbing and solid suspension performance, though the RP23 shock may not hold up under aggressive use. While it excels on technical trails, its weight and geometry can make steep climbs challenging.
Superbly balanced and accurate handling
Carbon fiber frame with durability reinforcements
Excellent descending performance
Travel adjust fork improves climbing
Outstanding chassis stiffness
Weighs more than 30lb (13.6kg), affecting climbing
RP23 shock loses performance over rough descents
Not ideal for standing climbs
Overall price seems high for an alloy-framed bike
The geometry is set up superbly for getting maximum fun out of any technical or just plain fast trail you point it down.
If the Enduro Pro were a teenager, the little punk would live on synthetic energy drinks, and walk the halls wearing a flat brimmed hat, baggy pants, and an mp3 player streaming Kid Cudi. All the while, still pulling off a top spot on the honor role.
Descending on the Enduro was predictably awesome. It was plenty of bike and took on the Free Lunch Trail’s big drops as well as the long and technical alpine gravity trails at Keystone resort with confidence and stability at speed.

Super friendly, confident and capable all-rounder, but slightly soft when you push it hard
