Summary

The Marin Attack Trail is a distinctive enduro bike that stands out for its supple suspension and playful handling, making it a favorite for aggressive trail riding. While it excels in agility and suspension performance, some riders may find its compact geometry limiting at high speeds or on steep climbs. The bike's unique QUAD3 suspension system and high-quality components contribute to its confident descending and efficient climbing capabilities.

  • Supple suspension platform for excellent small-bump compliance

  • Playful and agile handling for precise trail navigation

  • High-quality components and unique QUAD3 suspension system

  • Confident descending with a stable wheelbase and slack head angle

Cons

  • Short dropper post and reach can limit aggressive riding

  • Unstable at high speeds due to twitchy handling

Marin Attack Trail 8 review

avr. 2016 · Rachael Gurney

Tidy suspension and kit let down by geometry that’s due a longer/slacker update to keep it up to pace with the modern raft of trail bikes

Highs
  • Flickability, supple suspension platform and some decent kit

Lows
  • Geometry is too compact for intended use, slack seat angle makes climbs a chore, too-short dropper post
