An affordable fat bike worthy of upgrading as you go. Buy if you’re looking for an affordable, go-anywhere machine and are willing to make some upgrades along the way
Sturdy frame, good trail manners, dropper post compatible
Stock brake levers lack reach adjust, calipers have poor modulation, low tpi tires don’t maximize traction

Over the last couple of months, we've taken the Surly Wednesday bikepacking and arroyo exploring around northern NM. Here's our complete review.
Handling that strikes a balance suited to both engaging singletrack, and loaded bikepacking.
Provision for suspension fork and dropper post means no compromise mountain biking!
The price: a very accomplished bike for the money.
Somewhat basic components (though they actually work fine).
Low front end means tall riders may need riser bars.
