Summary
The Pivot Shuttle is a trail e-mountain bike that combines lightweight carbon construction with a full-suspension setup, designed for both climbing efficiency and downhill confidence. Its Shimano E8000 motor and DW-Link suspension are frequently praised for their performance, offering a ride that feels close to a traditional mountain bike with the added benefit of electric assist. While the bike excels in handling and suspension performance, some reviews note the extra weight affects maneuverability and the high price point may be a barrier for some riders.

Forget everything you knew about e-mountain bikes and get ready for the Shuttle.Bicycling
Pivot have really got the Shuttle dialled in with a geometry setup that not only compliments the climb but allows for some real purpose on the descent.
One of the finest example of a EMTB to date that I’ve ridden. It’s a sublime, strong burly quiet frame, the cable routing is brilliant with no noise or slapping. Excellent, near perfect geometry.

First ride review of the new Pivot Shuttle Team e-bike. Pivot reworks its Shuttle e-bike with more travel, lighter weight and a (slightly) lower price.
Super lightweight at around 20kg for the Team XTR build.
Smooth DW-Link suspension and Factory level Fox suspension.
Stunning full carbon frame and good Shimano power.
£9,000 is hugely expensive and the ‘cheaper’ Race version is still very pricey.
Couldn’t get full travel through the shock even with the correct sag.

Price£8999ModelPivot ShuttleMotorShimano E8000 A no compromise, sub 10% body fat trail ripper. This bike is an MMA fighter disguised as an EMTB. Brutally fast, ripped to the bone and packs a stinging punch to propel you forward with the excellent Shimano Steps E8000 motor. I first heard about the £8,999 Shuttle on EMTB Forums. I couldn’t quite believe how they’d achieved a sub 20KG package. Even the almost identically priced Specialized S-Works weight in at 21.8KG so it’s impressive that …

The Shuttle has ruffled quite a few feathers as one of the lightest and most expensive eMTB's on the market. Find out how it all shook out in our long term review.

We've often wondered who would be the first among the boutique brands to offer an e-bike. Our questions have been answered as Chris Cocalis of Pivot designed a very intriguing machine. - Mtbr.com
