Summary
The Factor O2 is a lightweight race bike that excels in climbing with exceptional responsiveness and handling. It offers a blend of minimal weight and some aerodynamic features, though it may feel nervous on descents and straights. While praised for its high-quality components and customization options, it comes at a premium price and has some noted drawbacks like a loud freehub and potential build quality issues.

Build quality issues in some cases
It sounds like a climber’s dream, and on that score at least, it’s breathtakingly good.
The Factor O2 VAM is for performance above all else. You can feel it—on the descents, the flats, and definitely on the climbs.
It's a niche bike and it's hard to make a case for buying it over other bikes in the Factor range or the competition from other brands, but I can't help but really like it.
