Summary
The Allied Able gravel bike stands out with its unique chainstay design and North American-made carbon fiber construction, offering a responsive and stiff ride that excels at speed. While it's praised for its lightweight frame, nimble handling, and generous tire clearance, some reviewers note a firmer ride quality at slower speeds and a higher price point. The bike's performance is often compared to models like the Open U.P., Specialized Diverge, and Cervelo Aspero, highlighting its position in the competitive gravel bike market.

"IT’S THAT BIKE WITH THE WEIRD CHAINSTAYS!"
"The Able feels its best at speed."
"The high-end carbon-fibre Allied Able is a speedy and thoroughly enjoyable bike to ride."
The Able is wonderfully stiff and responsive, with much more of a distinctly taut and sporty feel.
Ultimately, I’d say the Able is everything it’s made out to be: it’s quick, it’s sporty, it’s capable, it seems very well constructed, it thrives on going fast, and it’s a blast to ride.
