Zusammenfassung
The Vitus e sommet is praised for its high-end components and impressive suspension, offering a great balance of performance and value. Its modern geometry and adaptable suspension make it a versatile choice for enduro riding, though some note issues with motor noise and battery access. The bike excels in technical terrain, providing confidence and comfort, but its plush suspension may not suit all riders.
High-end components for a reasonable price
Impressive suspension
Modern and well-balanced geometry
Confidence-inspiring stance when descending
Great value for money
EP8 motor rattle
Fiddly battery removal
Heavy and plush suspension may be too 'enduro' for some
Some noticeable bobbing under pedaling
Vitus has nailed the price-versus-performance balance with the E-Sommet VRX.
The supple suspension will suit many, too, and is impressively adaptable for lighter and heavier riders alike.
The E-Sommet is planted, confident, and absurdly capable.
