Rolling up the dry trails out my back door on the Otso Voytek Trail fat bike, thoroughly enjoying the light bike as it climbed easily and handled the rocky singletrack, I crossed an arroyo. Looking up at the mountains, I decided it would be more fun to shoot straight down the arroyo back to a different trail system than tempt fate with the storm brewing above the ridgeline ahead.
