Zusammenfassung
The Giant Reign is a highly capable enduro bike, praised for its confidence-inspiring descent performance and efficient climbing, thanks to the Maestro suspension system. It's noted for its stability and agility on challenging terrain, making it a favorite for aggressive riders. However, some reviews mention it's less efficient on climbs compared to peers and can suffer from pedal strikes due to a low bottom bracket.
Confidence-inspiring on steep descents
Efficient pedaling due to Maestro suspension system
Stable yet agile on challenging terrain
Good value for the price
Top-shelf components
Less efficient on climbs compared to peers
Frequent pedal strikes due to low bottom bracket
Understeers in tight switchbacks
The Reign rewards riding with the brakes OFF!
It’s a bloody courageous steed that fears very little, it just needs a pilot with the same attitude to make the most of it, who’s up for it?
The Reign Advanced 1 is perhaps the closest I’ve found to a genuine quiver killer.

Das Giant Reign Advanced 1 ist ein bergabverliebtes Enduro, das es schnell, hart und dreckig liebt, bei Highspeed und einem versierten Biker am Lenker läuft es zu Höchstform auf. Berghoch „noch gut“.

The Giant Reign 27.5 1 is something of an enigma in that it’s an eye-wateringly quick race bike, but still a barrel of laughs on a social ride
Fast and fun in equal measure
It’s a little overpriced

When Giant launched the Reign for the 2005 model year, it was billed as a long-travel cross country bike with 5.8" of rear travel and a 70-degree head angle. It also featured Giant’s all-new Maestro suspension platform.
