We briefly rode the new BMC Speedfox while attending the CrankTank Media Summit in Sun Valley, Idaho this spring. BMC North America is settling into their new headquarters in Scotts Valley, a town just outside Santa Cruz, that also is home to Fox Suspension. In August we met up with North American Marketing Manager Ryan Cleek to pick up a Speedfox 01 for a long term review, and have been riding it ever since. The bike retails for $6499 USD, and can be purchased through a BMC retailer. Das Speedfox 03 ist ein wahrer Pfundskerl, bringt 14,1 Kilo auf die Wage. Für ein Tourenfully in der 3000-Euro-Preisklasse ist das eindeutig zu viel, es hemmt Antritt und Vortrieb des Bikes spürbar und verlangt beim Kurventanz einen Fahrer, der mit Nachdruck führt.

The Speedfox is a very capable steed with 120mm front and rear travel. With a dropper post integral to this ride, BMC designed a system that opens the rear shock when it's down and puts it in Trail mode when it's up. - Mtbr.com
