For the money, B’Twin’s Rockrider 700 is a good 24" kids all rounder offering some decent kit, plenty of gears and geometry designed specifically for children. Quite how they’ve managed to make it so heavy though is intriguing. The B'Twin Rockrider AM 100S is available with three different wheel sizes. From smallest to largest, the same bike takes 27.5in, 27.5 Plus and 29in wheels.

Definitely not a fun-time trail bike, but a blisteringly quick XC race machine at a bargain price. Buy if you're looking for an occasional bike for XC trails at a bargain price
