Faster, more versatile and even better value. The new SLR is aero-optimised to be breakaway-fast and ultra-distance comfortable. Summer through winter, ride or race, the SLR is the perfect option for those looking for one performance bike to ride, week in, week out, year-round.
FAST
The new SLR aerodynamically outperforms its predecessor by 5.7 watts. However, this aero improvement hasn’t come at the expense of the exceptional comfort, control, and handling that made the previous SLR a standout choice for many riders.
FUNCTIONAL
The SLR features a two-piece bar and stem and a two-position seat post that offers both inline and 15mm layback options. This configuration allows for precise adjustments, ensuring riders can easily customise their fit preferences. Additionally, it simplifies the adjustment process and makes changing or upgrading the setup more efficient and cost-effective.
VERSATILE
The frame features additional bottle cage mounting points, which enhance its carrying capacity. It also includes concealed mudguard mounts on both the frame and fork. When paired with the dedicated Fend-Off guards designed specifically for the SLR, switching to a wet-weather setup becomes simple and hassle-free.
PRACTICAL
Future-proofed with added peace of mind. All SLR frames take advantage of the Universal Derailleur Hanger system; this inclusion improves shift performance and makes sourcing a replacement hanger straightforward. In addition, the SLR range, as with all other Boardman models post-2018, is covered by a full lifetime warranty for the original owner.
